A Boho Chic Makeover
When my client, an artist and self-described "old hippie,"bought "The Pink House" in Ponte Vedra, she knew it needed a major makeover. The house was seriously dated with pale green carpet, and pink walls.
My client loves bold color, and wanted an eclectic, casual, boho beach feel.
We opened up the living room to the sunroom, removing the columns, installed distressed gray hardwood floors throughout, and painted the living room walls a soft white.
A jute rug and grayed wicker chairs give the room a beach feel with bamboo shades that compliment the wood flooring.
The sunroom got aloha blue walls, sailcloth ceiling fans and a cozy Indonesian daybed, Moroccan hanging lights and rug. We transformed an upholstered chair with an Indian bedspread to enhance the Boho-ethnic feel.

A shell and wicker chandelier gives soft light for the dining area.
The adjoining master bedroom was painted a bright citron. We added a shell inlay bedside table and wood bead ceiling fixture.
The guest bathroom is bold and bright with orange palm wallpaper, a handprinted Peruvian mirror and steampunk light fixture.
